Teaching

The benefits of vocal study are incomparable for the multitude of rewards that it yields. It promotes social inclusion, self-esteem, and empathy; engages the emotions; and bridges communities over cultural, age, and economical gaps. Jordan passionately believes, especially after the past couple of years that we have all endured, that through music we can heal and connect on a necessary, profound human level.

Jordan has been passionate about teaching voice, acting, and theater for over 15 years with a focus on emotional truth and healthy, flexible technique. She  currently serves as adjunct voice faculty at Cabrillo College and teaches private lessons (zoom and in person when appropriate for safety). A founding member of The Santa Cruz Opera Project in Santa Cruz and of  Tomorrow Youth Repertory in Alameda, CA, Jordan has seen her students go on to study music and theater at top colleges and Universities, and they can be seen shining on film, TV, and Broadway.
